things can only get better

Well well well, I've not done an actual post in ages! I have to apologize for my absence, I've just been busy with University and going out and basically just having the time of my life! University is probably the best thing that has ever happened to me. I am finally feeling happier. (took my time). I am so so happy at the moment and will hopefully be getting accommodation very soon. ARGHHH comes to mind when I think about living near my Uni! SO EXCITED but don't want to jinx it! Finger's crossed everyone!

So, moving on...This post is just a little one showing you three items that I bought today and I have fell in love with.

A ring and earrings from Miss Selfridge and an absolutely stunning Barry M nail varnish in the colour FOIL. As you can see the ring and earring were in the sale for £2.00 each...bargin if you ask me, and the Barry M nail varnish was £3.99 HOWEVER being the Uni student that I am, I did get a discount...oh yess I did! :D 20% off....what a lucky girl I am. It may not seem like a lot but when your a student, every little helps!

Sorry about the blurry images but how stunning is this ring? As you can see it is shaped like a wing and is covered in diamonds which are also pink and green. These particular colours look amazing with the gold! It is my new favourite ring, it overlaps onto my little finger and fits perfectly on my ring finger. It goes perfect with my silver nails too ;)

Okay, how adorable are these earrings?! I seen them and fell in love. My friend loves peace symbols and wants one tattooed on her wrist and you should have seen her little face when she seen these! They are covered in diamonds (not real ones of course) and are small and petite. £2.00 for these beauty's? Bloody bargin. You can wear them with any outfit and I think It's because they are diamonds...everything goes with diamonds whether it's a little black dress or jeans and a sexy tee!

Are you not just in love?! This is an ABSOLUTELY AMAZING nail colour. At first I was a bit skeptical of buying this as I didn't know whether it would turn out glittery on my nails or in fact metallic looking. I am extremely pleased to say it is a stunning silver metallic nail varnish. I have never found a nail varnish that gives off this amazing effect. It catches the light beautifully and is just constantly shining. I can't keep my eyes off it! All of you know what Barry M nail varnish is like but I'll say it anyway...applies beautifully and smoothly and is long lasting. I definitely recommend this colour to everyone who loves eye catching nail colours. Goes perfectly with a going out outfit too ;)

I think that these three items go perfectly together too!

Hope everyone is happy and loving life. Live it to the full.
Live. Laugh. Love.

It's Elf's Metal Madness nail polish and it is an amazing metallic colour hence the name! I just think that for £1.50 it is a gorgeous colour and is very durable. I used the Barry M top and base coat to make it look shiny and amazinngggg!

Hope your all well, and the weather is good for you all. It's rain rain rain in Cumbria as per usual! Have a good night guys!

I'm blue dab a dee dab a die & something personal

Hello my lovelies! Hope you are all doing well and enjoying your finally weeks of freedom and lie in's! I have plans to go out this bank holiday so I went ahead and done some tanning, so at the moment I am no longer Casper. Happy days! I wanted to wear a nail varnish that really stood out against my now tanned skin (well, tanned for me), so I chose this b-e-a-utiful colour.

The gorgeous glittery blue is Barry M Blue Glitter. Now this colour looks amazing against tanned(er) skin but not so good against pale skin as it just looks too much in my opinion. It is also an absolute bugger to get off but is well worth while as it just grabs your attention.

It's a great nail varnish and stays on through anything! It is glittery as you can tell and also has a bit of a gritty texture to it but that does not bother me one bit! Imagine this nail colour on the beach with a sexy tan, glistening in the sun? Wish I was going somewhere hot and sunny where I could show this eye catching nail varnish colour off.

I also wanted to show you my new I-phone cover which I am TOTALLY in love with! How old school and amazing is it? I love the bright pink colour!

In the previous pictures, you can all see the bands that I am wearing and I just wanted to take a minute to talk about them. One is for a girl called Chloe Walker and a boy called Kieran Goulding who tragically died last May in a bus crash. They both attended the school that I went to and Chloe was in the year below me and Kieran, the year below Chloe. I knew Chloe and we used to be really good friends but drifted apart like friendships do. Some of her friends came up with the idea of creating wristbands in memory of them and then donating the money they would raise (as I think they were a pound each) to a choice of the families charity I think. I know that they raised A LOT of money and if you walk around the place where it happened, you'd see SO many people with these bands on.

This February just gone a boy called Jordan Peck also tragically died in a motorbiking accident. I knew him from school again and he was my boyfriends close friend. I also used to be in a relationship with him way back in 2009 but hadn't spoke to him for about 2 years. Again some friends of his arranged to have the wristbands made in memory of him and raise money. I personally think it is an amazing idea to remember someone, I wear the bands everyday and look down at them and think of them.

It tragic times like these that make you wish you made more of an effort. I wish I made more of an effort with Chloe, to rebuild our friendship and I wish I stayed at her house when she asked me. Little things like that. I wish that mine and Jordan's relationship would have worked out but it didn't. It makes it that little bit harder for me as I had more than a friendship with Jordan at one point. It's hard for everyone.

You can see here that it says their names and Chloe's and Kieran's band has a star on it and Jordan's had a heart. Everyone has been so strong and helped each other through these hard times that we've faced. I hope we can continue on in doing so in helping everyone come to terms with what happened. It's been a year since Chloe and Kieran passed, and it still feels so surreal. That day is such a blur for everyone I suspect and just 6 months since Jordan died. It still doesn't seem real and they are so so missed by everyone.

It's definitely made me realise to appreciate the ones that you love and don't take them for granted. Love, Laugh and Live! Enjoy your life to the full and try to be as happy as you can. Life's too short.

I WANT!

Hey guys! Well, just oh my god, i can't explain how much i want these nail varnishes, i want them SO SO much, but unfortunatly the only place you can get these stunning polishes is house of fraiser and there isn't one near me! BUT i will not let that fact get me down! I am determined to get these nail varnishes!

Hellooooo pretty things! As part of Nordstrom's annual anniversary sale, Deborah Lippmann has put together these glitzy nails varnishes called Get This Party Started. This gorgeous looking set contains the best seller Happy Birthday which is a party in a bottle, plus two new sparkling shades, Forget You which has a sheer black base and Candy Shop which is a yummy looking bubblegum pink.

(Notice how each nail varnish has a song name? It's Deborah's way of showing her love for nails as well as music. Each nail varnish has the name of a song that she loves!)

All three nail varnishes are packed FULL of glitter shaped in hexagons that help give a amazing shine and, of course, glittery look! Imagine rocking these glittery nails on a night out or lying on a red hot beach with your nails glistening in the sun?

Just how amazing do these look?! Without a doubt i WILL be getting my little hands on these jaw dropping varnishes. They will without a doubt get the party started!

LOVE THEM, WANT THEM, NEED THEM

What do you think of these stunners?

I also want to add in the nail varnish called Shape Of My Heart which was created with Shape magazine to help fight breast cancer. I am a HUGE supporter of helping to fight any type of cancer, particular breast cancer as my mother suffered from this illness. She has won the battle and is fit and well.

The shade is beautiful a Healthy Blush (sheer) and i just love what this nail varnish is made for.

I want these nail varnishes badly! I can just  imagine them sitting pretty on my nails as i am never without nail varnish. I would love to add these glittery beautys to my collection!

What do you guys think?!
